About Miba & Zollern

The joint venture between Miba AG and the Zollern Group in the field of bearings was officially launched on October 1, 2019. The Miba Group contributed five of its engine bearing plants to the joint venture, accounting for approximately 20% of Miba's total revenue. The Zollern Group contributed two industrial bearing plants and one engine bearing plant. Miba's four existing industrial bearing plants are not included in this joint venture, and the other business areas of both Miba and Zollern remain unaffected.
Miba Assumes Industrial Leadership
Miba holds a 74.9% stake in the joint venture and assumes industrial leadership. The company is headquartered in Laakirchen, Austria. Miba Bearing Group has emerged as a strong and innovative bearing expert, previously operating nine production sites across all key customer markets. With the integration of Zollern’s three bearing plants, its global presence has expanded to 12 production sites across Europe, the United States, Brazil, and China.
Weima Electric (Shanghai) Ltd. serves as a distributor for Miba/Zollern plain bearings, with its headquarters located in Songjiang District, Shanghai. To better serve customers in the South China and North China regions, subsidiaries have been established in Tianjin and Zhongshan: Weima Motor (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and Weima Motor (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd.
